It's time to get into the more advanced materials. At this point, we expect that you have a pretty
good idea of what resolution is and what the resolutions of both NTSC video and HDTV are.
In this section, we'll cover how different aspect ratio display devices convert different
resolution signals, and how these images are actually displayed in the viewing area. We'll also
explain what an anamorphic DVD is and why this is so important. We'll touch, on video switchers
and amplifiers. Lastly, we'll explain the new high definition copyright encryption system.
