When it comes to service, selection, and support, The Projector Pros wants to be your liaison to the world's top manufacturers. The Projector Pros can help you to expedite service processes with your manufacturer to ensure a prompt and satisfactory resolution, and further offers a hassle-free policy program to make returns and exchanges as easy as possible.

Our website provides you with 24/7 accessibility, so you can begin to process a customer support request online, regardless of the day or time. One of our customer care representatives will respond to your inquiry on the next business day. For telephone support, you may call The Projector Pros Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. EST at 1-800-649-9809.

Projector Returns

The Projector Pros will accept returned projectors and will refund the original purchase price of the projector for five (5) business days after the customer's receipt of the product. The returned projector must indicate a lamp usage of no more than ten (10) hours; otherwise a restock fee will be applied. (Excludes Plasmas, LCD's, and Rear Projection TVs; please see Plasma/LCD/Rear Screen Television Returns for more information).

Lamp Returns

The Projector Pros will not accept a lamp return unless the lamp is unused, its packaging is unopened, and it is returned within five (5) business days after the customer's receipt of product.

Accessory Returns

Accessories are defined as screens, mounts, and any product that is not considered a projector or a standalone display device. (Excludes lamps; please see Lamp Returns for more information).

A 15% restock fee, freight, and insurance charges will be applied to all accessory returns, unless otherwise noted.

Special Order Product Returns

Special order product returns that are not covered under a projector's warranty are subject to a 15% restock fee.

Plasma/LCD/Rear Screen Television Returns

The Projector Pros will not accept returns of Plasma screen monitors, LCD panels over 20-inches, or rear screen televisions. All plasma, LCD panels over 20-inches, and rear screen television sales are final.

LCD panels under 20-inches will be considered for return on a case-by-case basis.

Defective Products and DOA Returns Policy

If *defective or **DOA merchandise is received by the customer, The Projector Pros customer care department should be contacted immediately. The defective/DOA product will either be repaired and returned or exchanged for the same make and model, depending on product availability and the individual manufacturer's Defective/DOA policies.

It is important to note that Defective product/DOA policies will vary by each manufacturer. The Projector Pros will not extend a product's DOA term beyond the product manufacturer's DOA policy period. Therefore, it is important for you, as the purchaser to understand the manufacturer's policy. For example, Sanyo and Sony do not offer exchanges for defective/DOA products; they only provide repair. Toshiba provides product exchanges within the first 14 days of receipt***. Most other manufacturers offer a thirty (30) day DOA exchange policy.

Used, demo, and B-stock merchandise is not eligible for exchange if they are defective/DOA. They are only eligible for factory authorized repairs. Please contact The Projector Pros customer care department at 800-649-9809 or contact the manufacturer directly for repair information.

For special order items, The Projector Pros defective/DOA policy will coincide with manufacturers' current warranties.

*Defective: Any product that fails to meet the factory specifications as determined by a product's manufacturer.
**DOA: Dead On Arrival. The product will not power on.
***Receipt: The date provided by the shipping carrier as proof of delivery, or the date of the signed delivery receipt of your product.

Pixel Policy

Though we receive top quality products from our manufacturing partners, occasionally a display device may have one or more "off" pixels, also referred to as "bad" or "dead" pixels. Industry Standard allows for a few "dead" pixels to exist on an LCD panel or DMD (DLP™) chip. The acceptable amounts and placements of "dead" pixels vary by manufacturer. The issue of "dead" pixels does not make a display device eligible for replacement as a defective/DOA unit by The Projector Pros, however it may be returned to the manufacturer for a case-by-case evaluation and resolution.

Condition of Returned Merchandise

All returned merchandise must be in new condition and ready for resale. Additionally, the following conditions must be met:

  • Please do not write on the product's box. If the box is written on, The Projector Pros will refuse the return.
  • The projector should be in its original shipping carton with original packing materials.
  • If your returned projector has between ten (10) and fifty (50) hours of lamp usage and/or evidence of excessive wear and tear, you will be refunded your purchase price less a 15% restock fee. If the projector has more than fifty (50) hours of lamp usage, you may not return it for credit or exchange. In this case, your projector may be repaired under warranty according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Please include all accessories in the original packing materials. Please note that actual replacement costs for missing items will be deducted from your refund/credit.
  • Please include all manuals, instructional materials, and warranty/guarantee information. Actual replacement costs for missing items will be deducted from your refund/credit.

Return Procedure and Policy

  • The customer will return the merchandise to The Projector Pros by 2nd-day freight, insured for full purchase value, with original packaging, documentation, and unmarked warranty card, original UPC codes on the manufacturer boxes, and all manuals and accessories.
  • The customer will pay freight cost(s).
  • The Projector Pros will accept return shipments from the following carriers: Airborne, DHL, Fed-Ex, and UPS. The Projector Pros will not accept product returns via U.S. Mail. Products returned by U.S. Mail will be refused and will not be credited or exchanged.
  • A 15% restock fee will apply to items with evidence excessive wear and tear, or with usage within the previously specified criteria. Freight charges, for delivery and return, and related insurance charges, will not be refunded or credited.
  • No return will be accepted and no refund will be applied to any product after five (5) business days of receipt. Special order products include and are not limited to: non-portable screens, custom cases, cables, ceiling mount kits, and other non-stocked items. Your account representative will advise you at the time of purchase if any merchandise in your order falls within this category.

International and U.S. Wholesalers and Resellers

All sales are final, no returns or credits will be accepted or applied. The Projector Pros may approve an upgrade to an item of greater value within seven (7) days of receipt. If an upgrade is approved, purchaser must receive an RMA number from The Projector Pros customer care team. The purchaser will be responsible for all shipping charges and/or duties incurred (if applicable).

Items Damaged During Transport

The Projector Pros works with the most reliable and reputable shipping carriers, however, on occasion, shipping damages can occur. All shipping damage claims must be made through the common carrier; so, it is critical that you follow these guidelines:

  • Please inspect all shipments upon delivery. If damage or loss exists upon delivery, do not accept the shipment until you clearly notate the damage on all copies of the carrier's pro bill; have the driver sign all copies to acknowledge your notation(s). Do not sign a clear receipt for damaged or missing packages or cartons; otherwise there will be no foundation for your claim. Further, request that the carrier inspect the damage. Next, file a claim with the carrier. Follow up as necessary to finalize a settlement.
  • Even when the driver acknowledges damage/loss in writing, you must additionally request an inspection by the carrier and keep the merchandise, carton, and package materials at the address to which shipment was made until the carrier authorizes movement. The carrier must furnish an inspection report. In case of concealed damage, an inspection must be requested within five (5) days of the shipments receipt.
  • Please report the damage or loss to The Projector Pros immediately. However, please do not return merchandise to The Projector Pros. You must file your claim with the shipping carrier, enclosing copies of the bill of lading (signed by the driver) and the inspection report to support your claim. Keep all packing materials and containers with the damaged merchandise. Do not discard anything. The Projector Pros will provide as much assistance as possible, however we cannot be responsible for the actual filing of claims against the carrier nor can we accept liability for any freight claims, collected or not.

Warranties

"New in Box" merchandise includes the manufacturer's standard warranty and excludes such consumable items as lamps, filters, etc. Manufacturers may include an extended warranty program beyond their standard warranty period on particular items. Manufacturers typically provide a one (1) year warranty or less (unless otherwise specified) on used, demo, and remanufactured/refurbished B-stock items that covers repair only. Used, demo, and remanufactured/refurbished B-stock products do not qualify for D.O.A. exchange. These products will be repaired and returned to purchaser. Please confirm your product's manufacturer's warranty coverage at the time of your purchase.

The Projector Pros disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The Projector Pros neither offers nor furnishes any warranties that extend beyond the description on the face hereof.

Refunds

Existing accounts: If a purchaser's account has an open balance, a refund will not be issued. Instead, a credit memo will be issued and the credit will first be applied to the invoice where the products were purchased, then to any other open invoices remaining on the account, beginning with the oldest invoice. Any credit balance remaining will be refunded as outlined below.

Credit cards: Any refund for a credit card purchase will be issued as a credit to that same credit card account within a reasonable period of time after inspecting returned products.

Checks: Any refunds for purchases paid by check - whether prepaid, C.O.D., or open terms (Net 10 or Net 30) - will be paid by means of a refund check within a reasonable amount of time, after inspecting returned products.

Insufficient Funds and Overdue Accounts

A $25 returned check fee will be charged for any checks returned for insufficient funds. As a result, any future shipments must be pre-paid by cashier's check. Any and all collection costs, including attorney's fees and court costs, will be charged to the purchaser if legal action is deemed necessary to collect. No further orders will be shipped until full restitution has been made.

Pricing and Promotional Changes

All products offered by TheProjectorPros.com are sold at the most current available prices. Fluctuations in available inventory, as well as daily changes of manufacturers' costs, programs and promotions occur frequently and may affect the pricing and promotions offered through this website.

TheProjectorPros.com is unable to provide price protection and will not refund price differences from any current or previous order, nor will it bill for price increases made effective after an order is completed. Additionally, TheProjectorPros.com cannot honor promotions on purchases made prior to the promotion's start date.

Law and Venue

The Projector Pros sales invoices shall be governed by the laws of the state of Massachusetts. Venue for any legal action relating to such sales invoices shall be Middlesex Country, Massachusetts.

Policy Enforcement

Failure by The Projector Pros to enforce any purchase policies does not constitute a waiver of any portion of the company's purchase policies.

Limitation of Liability

The Projector Pros and its parent and partner companies shall not be liable under any circumstances for any consequential, incidental, special or exemplary damages arising out of or in any connection with this agreement or products, including but not limited to lost profits, lost business, lost data, or any claim based on indemnity or contribution, or the failure of any limited or exclusive remedy to achieve its essential purpose or otherwise. The purchaser's/customer's exclusive remedy, as against The Projector Pros, shall be specifically limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts.

If The Projector Pros lists any product on its web site at a price in error, or that is no longer available for any reason, The Projector Pros reserves the right to cancel the sale without assuming any liability.

The design, images, titles, names, and content within this website are protected by copyright, trademark, and other proprietary rights. These include but are not limited to intellectual property laws.

Under no circumstances may an individual, group, or organization be permitted to copy, publish, use, or redistribute any part or content from this website without meeting the following conditions:
